Golf Tips

While all golfers prefer to practice their golf on the course, that isn’t always possible. There are, however, other ways that golfers can practice and perfect their swing and their putting.

Since most golfers realize that golf is a mental game, a good place to practice is in front of the TV set! By watching the pros, a golfer can actually instill some aspects of the pros’ great swings into his or her own mind. Then when it is finally possible to get back to the driving range or golf course, the golfer can put into practice what was learned while watching TV.

Reading how-to tips in golf magazines or books and watching training tapes are more ways to visualize what the golf swing should look like. The swing can even be practiced in the house without an actual club in the hands, simply by taking the proper stance and completing the swing. If the golfer has access to an open outdoor area, and the weather is decent, he can take a real club and practice the swing outside but without actually hitting a ball.

It’s easy to practice putting inside, especially if the golfer has indoor/outdoor style carpeting or some other low pile surface on which to work. There are lots of putting aids available to use inside as well, including portable holes and putting mats which can help a golfer maintain or even improve putting skills throughout the winter or other non-golfing times.

For practicing pitching, chipping and fairway woods, lightweight practice golf balls that can’t be hit long distances can be used even if the available outdoor area is small. For those with a larger outdoor area, there are nets available to catch practice drives using real balls. These are especially useful if there are no buildings close by.

Most golfers know that practice helps keep their game skills in good shape. With a little thought, practice is possible for every golfer even when he or she can’t make it to the course or driving range.

I love golf too, but don't have enough time to practise, so I use a really easy golf swing that took me less that 5 minutes to improve my golf swing. How to do it is on my website
